of this spell is to heal drought stricken areas. The rain affects all
flora in the area causing them to become full grown and healthy baring
fruit to their maximum capacity. Any Good or Neutrally aligned creatures
that are caught in the rain benefit from its healing affects by
regaining hit points at a rate of 1d8 + 1 per round. Evil aligned
creatures do not benefit from the healing effects of the rain.
A secondary use of this spell is to drench undead armies in holy water. Each undead that is normally effected by holy water takes 1d8 + 1 damage per round while they are in the holy rain. Each undead that is not normally effected by holy water takes 1d4 + 1 damage per round while they are in the holy rain. Undead creatures in gaseous form must make a saving throw against breath weapon for each round that they are in the holy rain, beginning with a -8 modifier. If they fail, they take 1d4 + 1 damage for that round. For each round that they make their save the modifier decreases by 1 for the next round. The material components are: NOTE: This spell can not work unless a vile of holy water from a Lawful Good High Priest(ess) is used. |
