| DESCRIPTION: This spell only affects
spellcasters. It removes the power and memory of a random spell from the
target's memory and transfers it to the caster of Thief of Magic. The level of
the stolen spell is important to the effect of the spell. If the caster could
normally cast the spell, the caster gains it as a normal memorized spell. That
means he can wait and cast it, or even scribe it. A normal learn spell check
must be made to scribe the spell successfully. If the spellcaster couldn't
normally cast the spell, he must cast it in the next round or he loses memory of
it and he takes an amount of damage equal to its level. |
