DESCRIPTION: This spell coats several nearby weapons in a poisonous substance. This toxin is really a rather mild toxin; creatures hit in combat by a piercing or slashing weapon affected by this spell have a +2 bonus to their saving throw vs. poison. If this save is failed, the creature falls unconscious in under a minute. This lasts for 1d3 days, after which the affected must make two saving throws-another vs. poison and one vs. death. If both of these saves fail, the creature dies. If the creature is forcibly awakened before the end of the 1d3 days, it must immediately make both saving throws. If either of these fail, the creature immediately dies.

The material component for this spell is a small vial of snake venom.
