DESCRIPTION: This spell causes the affected creature to take an amount of damage equal to the damage it deals to the caster of this spell. This is only direct melee damage-not missile or spell attacks. Should the caster of the spell be killed by melee attacks by the affected creature, the targeted creature must immediately make a saving throw vs. death magic, failure results in the creature falling unconscious for 1d4 hours. They can't be awakened by any means until this time has passed.

The material component for this spell is a circle made of platinum wire. The circle must be at least an inch across. It is consumed in the casting.
